Pakistan Strikes Terrorist Camps in Afghanistan, Heightening Regional Tensions
Pakistan's Ministry of Information confirmed precise aerial and drone strikes against terrorist hideouts in Afghanistan, targeting "Fitna al Khwarij" and "Fitna al Hindustan" camps and destroying large quantities of weapons. The operation comes amid heightened tensions over alleged terrorist groups operating from Afghan soil. This cross-border action could heighten regional geopolitical risk, potentially influencing investor sentiment towards the Pakistani Rupee and increasing safe-haven demand for gold.
